Handling

  • The board must be kept in its packaging until it is used.
  • Before using the board, allow it to acclimatize in the same site where it is to be handled for 1 or 2 days.
  • To guarantee the stability of the board, make sure that you place it away from heat (hea- ting systems) and draughts (air conditioners).
  • Once manipulation of the board is completed, it is recommendable to protect it with some plastic cover.
  • The suitable temperature for the board is between 18 and 22 oC.
  • The suitable relative humidity for the board is 55%-65%.

Environment and safety

  • The product manufactured by Iberboard uses raw materials from recycled paper and cardboard and the production process uses energy-saving techniques such as water recirculation systems, waste water treatment and cogeneration plants.
  • The final product is 100% recycled and recyclable since it does not contain any substan- ce which can interact in a negative way with the environment, such as heavy metals, bleaching agents and others. Once the product has been used, it can be recovered and becomes raw material for papermaking.
  • No SVHC detected exceeding 0.1% according to European Commission Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH Act) (w/w).
  • The final product complies with the requirements of EN 71-3:2013 Safety of toys – Part 3: Migration of certain elements.
  • Tests of aqueous extracts in Dorexpack® boards results in slightly basic pH greater than 7, giving extra protection against aging, which always tends to reduce these values to more acidic pH.
